Louise Green – Owner / Project Manager
Louise’s primary role is to meet with the clients, assess your business needs, create the web proposals and ensure the project runs smoothly and delivers the final site on time and within budget.
Louise has been designing websites since 2001. As the senior technical manager for a global company she has over 20 years experience managing projects. Louise owned and operated a B&B after moving to Canmore in 2003. She also volunteered as the Vice President of Marketing for the Canmore B&B Association, implementing an online vacancy system and holding several seminars on utilizing the internet to market and promote B&B’s.
Returning to the UK in 2005 to manage a large project for her former company, the web site design and management remained an unspoken passion. While in the UK, she added database management to her growing portfolio of IT skills. As the 2 year project came to an end, she also qualified as a Personal Development Coach, and then returned to Canada to focus on new business ventures.
Earlier in her career, Louise worked in the Quality Department of a large international construction company. She started as a laboratory technician and eventually provided leadership for the national laboratory with a staff of 45, managing a busy laboratory and providing quality control testing. During that time she designed and implemented a national complaints database, developing the first company Intranet based Quality system, controlling and completing the project which centralized the national laboratory, and gaining UKAS accreditation.
Most recently Louise managed The UPS Store in Canmore, offering graphic design, marketing and promotional consultations to individual clients and businesses in the Bow Valley. She gained significant experience in designing and producing businesses cards, brochures and posters, and in executing ad mail campaigns.
Louise holds a Diploma in Business Management & Systems Analysis and a Diploma in Commercial Applications Programming.
“I have always enjoyed creating websites and helping people understand how to best use the internet. There are so many options now and new ways to be present on the internet, having a great looking website is just a small part of the process. I really love getting to know my clients and their customers because that is the key to creating the right internet solution. It’s about giving your customers what they want, and many times the first step is working out what that is, especially with the internet.”
